CD ROM or Digital Products
The CD ROMs we produce for clients contain sophisticated layouts and a user-friendly interface that leave no navigational dead-ends or frustrating user experience. Our CDs are fully hyperlinked, cross-referenced, and searchable. We produce conference CD ROMs, special publications in book format, and stand-alone reports in PDF format.
For our longer-term clients (such as the Gulf Coast Section SEPM Foundation) you can see our products evolve yearly, along with the Adobe Acrobat technology. Moving from the year 2000 to year 2006, an increase in complexity and usability is evident in our CDs.
Project profiles can be found behind each of the blue tabs above. To obtain a specific CD publication for closer inspection, contact us for free samples. In addition, you may also download sample papers, chapters, or indexes from our Downloads page.
General
We have been producing the Gulf Coast Section SEPM Foundation publications since 1997 - first in traditional hard copy format, and then in digital (PDF) format on CD ROM. This organization has been at the forefront of digital publications in the oil and gas industry, and continues to set the standard. All the publications listed below can be purchased through the Bureau of Economic Geology, Austin, Texas.
The Gulf Coast Section SEPM conferences are set for December of each year and are always held in Houston, Texas. The 2010 conference planning is underway, and its profile will be presented here after the conference is over. The topic for this year's conference is "Seismic Imaging of Depositional and Geomorphic Systems."

- duplicate technical papers laid out in traditional 8 1/2- X 11-in. format
-
hyperlinked Author Index, containing an alphabetized list of all contributing authors in the volume (introduced in 2002).

2005
|
2005 was the year of Hurricane Katrina. Because the GCSSEPM conference is based in Houston, many of its authors come from Louisiana and specifically, New Orleans. In spite of the huge impact this event had on people's lives throughout the South, the scientists rallied and the conference went on - presenting 47 research papers spanning more than 1200 pages. Standard features included on this CD ROM were: |

2005
 |
 |
2005 was the year of Hurricane Katrina...and this year, the GCAGS conference was scheduled for New Orleans. The hurricane struck just a few weeks before the conference was to begin, effectively cancelling the event.
By this time, however, the entire publication was already completed and ready to go into production. The CD was released for sale after the fact, in February 2006, as a digital record of the research prepared for this conference. This publication consists of 109 technical papers and abstracts, comprising 923 pages. It is offered for sale through the Bureau of Economic Geology, Austin, Texas. |
2004

 |
In 2004 the GCAGS Transactions had 78 technical papers and abstracts, totalling 774 pages. Standard to our CD ROM projects, this volume has
- Help and Tips files to get you going quickly in Acrobat Reader
- an interactive Start page (above right) with pop-up descriptors for each button
- a hyperlinked Author Index, containing an alphabetized list of all contributing authors

This conference publication comprised 886 pages of submissions from 108 authors, 60 advertisers, and two technical editors. Both digital and hard copy (offset press) versions of this publication were produced. The CD ROM features:
